Today it seems that Samsung announced unknown that they would be eliminating ads from within their own applications. This means that the Samsung Galaxy Applications Applications such as Samsung Weather, Samsung Pay, etc. It’s been years since we listened for the last time, even the possibility that Samsung eliminate ads for their own products within the applications that are in their own products!
The information that today comes from the leaks of FrontTron, or Tron, however, would like to say it. Samsung Electronics had a bit of “blind” launch, which leaves the benefit of Samsung’s doubt, as it is effectively anonymous. In said version, a Samsung online meeting im Town Hall for employees saw an employee asking “Why predetermined applications have ads?”
The response from Samsung’s TM Roh was “we will eliminate the advertisements and release of compilations without them in the climate, payment, etc.” This is quite specific and a type of unexpected, since eliminating such ads will make a significant change in the software delivered with Samsung devices. We have no confirmation of Samsung, own on this change, nor do we have an expected timeline for such changes.
Samsung has been sending emerging notification ads to users of the new Samsung products for quite some time. They have appeared as recent this month, when Samsung Smartphone users saw an emerging announcement and linking information about the company’s new folding devices. It will be interesting to see if Samsung believes that these emerging ads are advertisements in the application, and if they remain in the future, too.
