We learned all the way back in December that the Speleological Territory and Spelunky 2 came to Nintendo Switch at some point in this summer, and the wait is almost finished, at least in some regions. The two games will arrive at the Edeshop in North America, Europe and Australia on August 26, adding another pair of Indie gems to the switch library.
Spelunko Sopports Local Multiplayer, and Spelunk 2 adds the game online to the mix. Although there are different areas on both platforms, each with its own enemies, lethal traps and rules, the levels are generated in a procedural manner, so things are always going to be a bit different in each race.
As soon as it’s the first time Spelunky, a classic cold stone, has landed on a hand console. It was launched on PS Vita (and PlayStation 3) in 2013, a year after the Remake of the original 2008 debuted at PC and Xbox 360. However, the sequel, has only been available on PC, PlayStation 4 and PS5 so far.
If you want to loot the caverns on the switch, you can pick up speleology for $ 10. Spelunk 2 will cost $ 20.
