The 2023 Nissan Z is real, and brings an iconic identification plate – and a favorite enthusiast – Back to the road with a surprising style and something hoarse from the old school. A preliminary view with the concept of Nissan Z Proto, and bringing an unexpected amount that the design to production, Z 2023 will reach the US. In the spring of 2022.
For the first time, Nissan is falling the numerical prefix for the car in the USA. In its place there will be two versions of the coupe, the Sport 2023 Z for the base specification, and the Y Performance Z 2023 that is loaded upwards .
Both get a design that in retro style elements with some family shape of antiquity cars, the concept Z proto, and a bit of the old generation 370Z. LED of front and rear lights are standard, using semicircle designs in the back clusters signs 3D front and, as well as handlers of the color doors of the body and a black front grill. The yield of 2,023 Z gets a front spoiler and rear spoiler, too.
There will be three monotonous exterior colors – black diamond metallic, metallic weapon and metallic rosewood – and six two-tone versions. Under the hood, Nissan is to keep things simple – and familiar. It is the V6 Twin-Turbo of 3.0 liters that we have seen in several models of Infiniti, here tuned for 400 horsepower at 6400 rpm, and 350 pound-foot between 1,600 and 5,600 rpm. The rear traction is standard.
Keep the purists happy – and more and more a rarity in the segment of sports cars – there will be a choice of transmissions. As well as a 9 automatic speeds with cable displacement and change palettes, there will be a 6-speed closed ratio manual paired with a high performance clutch. The automatic will have standard and sport handling modes.
Variable speed, variable electrical steering assistance is standard, such as the double fork front suspension with monotube shock absorbers, and independent multilink aluminum suspension. The Y Performance recovers the sport of adjustment to the suspension, also, together with a mechanical limited sliding differential.
For the wheels, the 2023 Z Sport has painted Dark-18 × 9 inch front and rear alloys, rubber shoes Yokohama Advan Sport.
