In 2019, Konami launched a mobile game called Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls. Unfortunately, it was launched on a very limited scale, since it was only available on Android and iOS in Canada. It was also available for a very short period of time, because less than a year after its launch, Konami closed the game and took it out of the Google Play store and the App Store. Now, less than a year after it started initially, it is about making a return, but in an even more limited way than before.
Konami announced today that Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls returns as an exclusive Apple Arcade. Yes, it seems that it is not only exclusive to Apple devices, but to Apple Arcade specifically. The positive side for this is that when Grimoire of Souls reappears as an exclusive Apple Arcade, you will not have any of the microtransractions we saw the first time, and we are always fans of less shopping in the game.
The list of the application store for the Souls Grimoire is already live, and tells us that the game will have 60 levels to play. Players will start the game as Alucard, but unlock classic Characters from Castlevania as Simon Belmont, Charlotte, Shana and Mary while playing. The list even says that there are more characters to come, so it sounds like new content will be added to the game after the launch.
Grimoire of Souls will also be available in a wide range of Apple platforms, including iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac and Apple TV. To play the game, you must execute iOS 13, iPados 13, Macos 11, or tvs 13 or later, depending on your device.
There is no release date for Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls, since both the official website and the list of the App Store simply say that it comes soon. We will keep our eyes peeled for a launch date and we will notify you when Grimoire of Souls begins the next chapter in its strange history.
